OUR GRAND OPENING PARTY

Anyone who knows Gary and I as a couple, understands that we love to throw a good party. We toyed with the idea of waiting until mid-November for our grand opening but I suggested that if the election went a certain way, no one would want to celebrate anything for a long time...and boy was I sadly right about that one.

Anyway, we were thrilled to team up with our new neighbor, The Flower Studio...to celebrate their arrival on the block as well...the block which I have been attempting to name "Radfax" (Ventura Blvd. between Radford & Colfax). We'll see if that sticks.

One of the big highlights was the Crepe de Ville truck tucked away in the back parking lot serving both savory and sweet options. Our lovely friend Diana created a fabulous dessert table with my favorite dessert ever, Lollibakes. My hair guru Bri Oro hosted a braid bar and we also had a lash bar by Vita Perfetta.

A good step & repeat seems to be the highlight of almost any good party in Hollywood...suddenly everyone is on the red carpet.

After a whole lot of mingling, eating and drinking and hugging and welcoming, I managed to haul myself up onto the stage to introduce a live performance by 2 members of Letters to Cleo, who also happen to be members of my family. That capped off a pretty spectacular evening.
